first attempt roof rack

thanks guys, im preety exited about the rack,,never welded before so im amazed, now im thinking about gas tank carrier....:wings:

Really does look good....and you have the right to brag..."i made that" which is priceless. Congrats.

Now...if i can only settle on a design for my rear bumper swingaway...and fab it up myself i'd be in your league.

And your rig has come a long way in a short time...i dig that.

Tres cool!

Wow, that came out great. Do you have any idea on how heavy it is?

Very good looking rack!!! Congratulations.

I'm interested to know if you hear it (wind hitting the rack) when you're driving above 60mph.

Also, what's the weight of the whole rack?

My homemade rack

Only 35 lbs. but very noisy - wind noise.

I just noticed that- I must have had that link in my "right click, copy" thing when I was trying to post a link about breathing zinc fumes from welding. Thinking back, I vaguely remember a discussion on him in another forum so that must have been it.

I added a generic zinc and your health type link to my other post.

I'm just going to chalk it up to one of these
 ;)
