First camping trip in our 100

We ventured out south of town this weekend for a two night camping trip. I had a lot more room in the 100 then the JKUR. With that said I learned quickly the more room you have the more stuff you will pack! I managed to get all of our stuff inside but put the firewood and the boys bike on the roof rack. I am planing on upgrading my rear springs to a HD as I was not happy with the squating after loaded. Coming from a jeep I was really surprised how well the 100 road on the washboard roads and ruts, way more comfy then I was used to. We are planing to get a little pop up that will fit the whole fam so that will free up some space inside. The last part of the road was a rough two track that was fairly rocky. The 100 felt great not bouncy or jolty but you could tell it was loaded down. Weather was great not to hot during the day mid 60s, nights got down to low 30s.
Here are some pics...

I'll admit it...I'm jealous! Good looking rig. I remember seeing it for sale on here. I can't wait to get back and do some wheeling in my 100 series!

Looks good! Instead of changing rear springs, you might want to check out the Air Lift 1000. I just installed one. It took less than 2 hours and was very easy. I leave the bags pretty much deflated when unloaded. When loaded up I air them up and it doesn't sag. Then you don't have to worry about it riding terrible when unloaded.

That's how I roll in the 100. Put a few psi in the bags to compensate for added weight.

Looks like a killer hundy man! I think in the next few years I will buy a 100 and retire the 80 to purely rock basher and 3 link it.

I think I am going to give the air bags a try since its a lot cheaper. It seems like the air lift 1000 kit is universal, is this correct? No issues installed on a 100? Thanks

Just got some new fiddly bits to put on our trailer. Currently its been a great option but if I were to do it again I'd go full monty and get the Jumping Jack vs the original Life Time trailer we have now which has been awesome. Very basic tent trailer but built really well and easy to strap and add stuff too as you go. Also they work well for hauling all that extra gear and crap kids bikes, red wagon fire wood etc. LOL Check out the Jumping Jack trailers you might like what you see. They surface used occasionally but their used prices never seemed cheap enough to go used over going new. The more expensive fancy 4x4 trailers with kitchen set up and roof rack tent are AWESOME!!! Man I'd love to have one of those!

They are mostly universal. My truck has a mild lift and I was concerned about their bags not working based on stock height coils. They recommended the 60755 kit if I remember correctly. It's in my build thread.
