First Death Valley Trip: 4 Cold, Wet, Snowy, Wonderfully Awesome Days

Thanks for the trip report. I made my first visit to Death Valley at the same time. We (GF&I) spent 5 nights at Saline Valley Hot Spring. If it had been warmer we might not have stayed as long but the cold temps sure made the hot water appealing. If/when I do it again I'd spend less time at the hs and more time exploring. It is such a vast area; the word "immense" comes to mind.

I tease my LR owning buddy that all his go to trip buddies are Toyota owners. He jokes "Smart LR owners always have a toyota on call you never know when British electrical creativity requires a tow" ha.. Cool trip thanks for sharing.

Great report. Judging by the weather it looks like you hit Titus canyon on Saturday? If so, we may have come close to crossing paths. We exited the canyon close to 3:30-4pm I believe. There were definitely a lot of hikers near the end.
