First Gen Driving Comfort?

Uhhhh, kinda hard to miss. The bases move up/down...I'm very intrigued by the 1st gens, though how exactly do you identify a suspension seat? Specific model?

i think he's asking without looking at the vehicle, for searching purposes like 'montero 'off road package' or montero LS or montero limited etc.

Looking for that thing i just had in my hand...
My Gen1 is a leaf sprung model, it rides a bit rough but not too bad. My '99 has dual suspension seats and remote reservoir adjustable shocks, let me tell you it truly does feel like it's driving on a cloud of titties on or off road.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I'm back to debating Gen 1 vs. Gen 2/2.5. I REALLY like the styling and utility of a the first gens but I know the 3.5 is a big upgrade. I usually buy something too nice then don't want to F it up. Interesting how the Gen 1 ones around here (PNW) have less miles than the Gen 2s, or oven 3s.
