Any recommendations for a pop-up slide-in that will fit my 2005 Tundra 4x4 Long Box (8') will be warmly welcomed. Please, no negative comments on my particular vehicle selection. Cheers
Nothing wrong with your vehicle selection at at all! I would put a used FWC Granby in it and be a happy camper. Spend your money on quality Load range E tires and maybe airbags, timbrens, or a progressive add a leaf in the rear (or combination of the above) to handle the extra weight of the camper. I ran a 2000 Tundra AC with a FWC Fleet for years and it was a tight unit. If I were to get another FWC it would be the Granby on an 8th box for the extra interior space and the fact that they are generally priced much lower than the models that fit in 5.5 and 6.5' beds (i.e Tacoma's).
