Stop drooling and buy my awesome vintage Tag.

This is a 1st generation 1987 Tag Heuer Pilot Quartz Chronograph model #230.206. I've had this one for a few years, but found that med school tuition trumps even the sexiest watches.

Everything you could ever hope to know about this watch: http://www.calibre11.com/heuer-tag-heuer-pilot/

Watch is in great shape, although is obviously 27 years old and has been worn. The finish is in good shape and would probably look new with a thorough cleaning and polishing. No cracks or scratches in the glass. Band is sized loose on my 7" wrist, so it may not have ever had links removed (not sure). Comes with the original case, pillow, and box from '87. Chronograph works, watch keeps great time.

The bad: There are 2 distinct issues with the watch. First, as you can see in the photo, the hour hand is positioned about 20 minutes behind where it should be. Secondly, the chronograph start/stop can be sticky and does not actuate sometimes (maybe on 25% of attempts). The watch was like this when I got it. I did send it to Tag shortly after buying it to see about getting it repaired. They called me back and said that they don't like to open the old Pilots because of the extremely complicated and rare quartz-mechanical movement inside. They said if I wanted them to open the watch it would cost at least $1,000 and they strongly recommended I leave it be. So here it is, haha.

The good stuff:
