Some where I read, it was recommended to disconnect both the positive AND the negative battery cables and physically touch them together for a short amount of time. No pun intended.
I just installed the aeon's onto the front of my truck last weekend. The instructions said to remove the old bumpstops, but they also said that the rubbers should almost be in contact at ride height. I removed the old ones and did an articulation test and don't even come within 3" contact at full articulation. I am either going to put the stock bumpstops back in or build some plate spacers to get them to function. (don't want to bottom out those fancy new shocks of mine!!)
