very cool adventure your boys will remember it always, I took mine on a 2 day rock hounding trip throughout the california southwest desert and up along the colorado river. we had louis l'amour books on tape and they still talk about it that was 14 years ago.

The X out performed my eXpectations. At the time of the trip I'd only had the truck about six months (it's an '05, though). I wheeled it a few times, but nothing extreme. It handled the long haul and the 26 miles of 4x on Old Ore Rd. I love my rig

I definitely have that now on my todo list. I have seen a lot of trip reports from Big Bend and I would love to start planning my own trip.
