I’m planning a trip from Dallas to Denver, and would like to spend some time on the water. I’m new to fly fishing so gullible fish would be preferable, but as long as the scenery is good I’ll be a happy camper. I’ll be in the Denver area for a couple of days so any suggestions around there would be much appreciated.

I'll be honest here on my experience level... I'm new to this section in order to learn about fly fishing myself. This new interest is totally based on my trip today up highway 34 into Estes Park CO. There were a TON of shops along the river and folks seemed to really be enjoying the river.
For what it's worth, the Estes Park area looks incredible.

Somehow I'm guessing Taco's trip has come and gone, but I've been fishing around CO for the last couple decades so if you have questions I can try to point you in the right direction.
