Is a portable weather station a thing?

Hey all,
Looking at holiday gift ideas and I thought my spouse would enjoy a little portable weather station. We’ve got an arkto G12 and it might be fun to have a weather station at base camp. Is this even a thing? If so do you have any recommendations? I’d prefer if we didn’t have to mount anything, but we’ve got an overland trailer as well as a roof rack on our vehicle if that helps at all. Any suggestions on where to start sniffing around would be great.

I have 2 of these and they work well for a home base. They are low priced, wireless and light weight. I don´t see why it couln't be portable?
