Is a portable weather station a thing?

Hey all,
Looking at holiday gift ideas and I thought my spouse would enjoy a little portable weather station. We’ve got an arkto G12 and it might be fun to have a weather station at base camp. Is this even a thing? If so do you have any recommendations? I’d prefer if we didn’t have to mount anything, but we’ve got an overland trailer as well as a roof rack on our vehicle if that helps at all. Any suggestions on where to start sniffing around would be great.

I have 2 of these and they work well for a home base. They are low priced, wireless and light weight. I don´t see why it couln't be portable?

I've been wondering about the same thing! I'm hoping for some adventures in some extreme places in the far north and thought that something like this could be not just fun but possibly helpful. Did you have any luck coming up with something?

I have been looking for something for my Alu-Cab setup. Currently, I have set up a small sensor outside when I get to camp to see the outside and inside temperatures. I have really found a good solution in the RV world, either.
