FJ80 Downpipes

Perpetual Transient
My FJ80 has had leaky downpipes for a number of years. I have had them spot welded yearly, particularly around one of the O2 sensors where are large crack has formed. I am to the point now where I need to source some new downpipes and am wondering if there is a less expensive aftermarket alternative. The last time I checked, 3FE 80 series downpipes were PRICEY. Anyone have any suggestions? I don't know why, but out of the last 12 years of Land Cruiser ownership I have always had noisy downpipes/exhaust manifolds. My goal by next spring is to address a number of upkeep items and get the exhaust dialed.

If you get new ones, get a piece of flex pipe installed, too. It helps keep the stresses off the down pipes.

Ironic you posted this up because I have the exact parts you need. I ordered a combination downpipe and cat welded and ready to bolt in. These parts were supposed to be for my 1990 FJ-62 but ended up being for a 90-92 FJ-80. PM sent
