Trying to get some ideas to muster up a project.
Be sure to check the tire clearance when building a flatbed. I have a friend who replaced his pickup bed with a flatbed after an accident. Turns out the rear tires would touch the flatbed when flexed out. They had to add mini-wheelwells to give enough space for the tires.
This is my daily driver. Flatbed is still there, but now it has a custom enclosure.

Ive been debating about making one for mine. I'm not ready to commit to closing the bed off. Its so useful open.

Its not a Mini truck as in old school Toyota.
But My Tacoma has been flat-bedded...
Here is some inspiration for ya...
Lots of work and the fuel fill relocation has to be done to get it to flow right. However it has proved to be worth it over the stock bed.
