The good:
It’s a turnkey rig, everything works like new. It’s light, 990lbs for the shell with a minimalist build inside, I don’t know total weight but it’s well under what the truck can handle. Drives very well considering the height of the camper due to the sway bar. Gets 15-16mpg if you keep it under 75mph, drops off above 75 though. Tires are good in snow, lots of tread with only 27k miles on them. I went with the 6-3/4 bed length because it has a shorter wheelbase so despite it being a fairly big camper overall, it has a reasonable turning radius and can still park in a normal parking space and isn’t prohibitively large when driving in a city. The rearview camera helps significantly as well. The heater is more than enough to heat the camper. TC shells are very efficient at keeping heat in or out. They’re cool in the summer, warm in the winter. No toilet inside, no smoking or pets, other than a jet boil I never cooked inside so no cooking smells. Still has new camper smell.
The bad:
I did have an issue with a leak but this has been fixed by the manufacturer. I took it to Total Composites and had all the caulking redone as well as RV tape placed on the roof seams as was their recommendation. This was done in house by them and I haven’t had any other issues. Lastly, it is the base model F-350 which means no cruise control, no power windows or mirrors. I special ordered the truck from Ford when the supply chain issues from COVID were making it really hard to get a new vehicle. I went with the base model because with everything being mechanical it has less computer chips and thus less reasons to be delayed. That worked but it is a very stock truck. The upside to this is less electronic parts to cause issues. I like that but YMMV. Otherwise, I have had no issues with the truck or camper. It drives well, it has been a great rig for ski trips and camping and has served me well but I can’t justify having a dedicated recreation vehicle anymore.
I would prefer to sell as a unit, asking 80k OBO.
