For those of you who are digital photography enthusiasts, check out the Flickr photo hosting, sharing, archiving, community, thing, service if you haven't already. Take a really in-depth look at it, because Flickr is the best thing to happen to the web - ever ... imo. ;)

Also, check out my Off-Road Destinations photo group that I created and moderate. The photos contained in this group aren't necessarily mine. Photo groups are almost like a discussion forums in which people with common interests can share their favorite photos and talk about them.

There are also interesting Land Rover and Jeep photo groups that were created by other people.

I'm in no way affiliated with Flickr, but its just a great service that I try to recommend everywhere. :)

I have about 3,000 pictures online, most of which are 1600x1200, and I'm adding more all the time. Although I greatly enjoy photography, I don't think I am very good at it. I just take snapshots in bulk, and hope for the best. :p

I just wanted to bump this back to the top. With all of the photo sharing and photography enthusiasts on the forum, I'm really surprised that seemingly few take advantage of Flickr. I would love to see an "Expedition Portal" photo group. :)

Free Flickr isn't remarkable and somewhat crippled. Membership is $25 per year for unlimited storage, and 20 gigs of upload bandwidth. The features are too many to list, but it is a social service that offers keyword tagging, sets, public groups, and great upload tools.
