Flip pac for full size short bed WANTED, Bend, OR

Hey everyone, I'm looking for a used flip pac somewhere in the western US. I'm on a budget, so I don't mind doing a little work, if the price is right. I've been having a hard time finding one, so I thought I'd try here.

Alternatively, if I can't find one, I might buy a regular camper and take a sawzall to it, and well, you know the rest...

It's a full 7'? If I remember correctly, mine is only 6'6". Might not be the greatest idea- going on a LOOOOOng gravel drive, I'd probably have to shovel out the dust after!
I'll definitely keep it in mind though. The one thing I do like about the Wildernest is that you can use the space underneath if its raining. On that note- do you have a rain fly for it?

No rain fly, I'm not aware that any Wildernest's had rain flys.

Martyn, sorry, it appears I've double messaged you- one here and one on your work email. Didn't know you were associated with AT. (I guess I should look a little closer next time!)

I had never heard of either the Wilderbeast or Flip campers before about a week ago, so I wasn't sure about the rain fly thing.

Any guess as to how much it would cost to fix the tent?

Pat- thanks, I checked that one out. It's a sweet deal, but fits a smaller sized truck.

A lot depends on the year of your truck (this is in regards to Wildernest only). I have a 2002 F-250 shortbed and my Wildernest fits 'OK'. But you have to deal with a small gap (camper is short 3" or so) at the front or back, depending on how you aline it. A simple fix by building a 'spacer'. Also the 'new' beds taper, making the fit side to side OK, but it looks a little off. So a perfect fit for the era of trucks they were build for, and an OK fit for the newer trucks (at least Fords). Wildernests do not need, and do not have rain flys.

Heading out camping tonight. Sure would be nice to have a flip-pac on the truck.

Still looking...

If anyone hears of one, let me know!

Hood River Flip Pac

I have a white Flip Pac I'm planning on selling in Hood River. It's on my 98 Tacoma right now. I'm selling because we have a lot of miles on the truck and mainly just use it around town. I also have a rain fly that I used for the first time this past week. The camper is in used, but in my opinion quite good condition. Let me know if you're still searching and we can talk details.

Cheers,
Ryan

Yo

Ryan, my friends from Bend keep bugging me about your flip pac- it'll fit their truck, but unfortunately not mine. Give me a ring if you want to sell it, and let me know how much.

Thanks, Casey
