One thing I've noticed on the AT Flippac site is that they have semi-generic sizes. Since the new Tacoma has a funky sized bed, does this still work? What about the older model flippacs? There's one fairly close to me that I'm considering, but was wondering if anyone has any experience with an older model on (say one that fits the prev. gen tacoma) on an 07+.

Bed sizes on 04 and previous and 05+ are the same for both 5 and 6 ft beds IIRC.

mine was ordered for an 09 Tacoma 6' box and it's currently on an 89 toyota pickup with a 6' box.
fit both - a little overhang on the 89 but not much.
