Up for sale is my Flippac made for Ford Superduty with the 80”bed (short-bed) $3,800. The Superduty short bed flippac purchased new Jan. 2012 cost same as long bed version from FRP. With tax picked up from FRP it cost $4,458. AT pricing is $5,500 per their web site. When I ordered mine from FRP they offered either the windowless thicker wall product, which is what FRP told me that they sold to AT, or the one with windows that has thinner walls, both were the same price. I chose the one with windows - it seems sturdy enough to me. It also comes with the Slo rain fly. Both the fly and the flip tent have been treated with 303 fabric guard. I removed the factory silicone hinge caulk and re-caulked with 3M marine caulk when it was new. Negotiable are Brophy heavy duty cable jacks that work great for this application. I made extensions for them so they clear the rear wheels of the truck (without the extensions they wouldn’t). Also negotiable is the swing open rear tail-gate that I made.
I love it but I need to use my truck bed for hauling motorcycles and the flippac just wouldn't work without coming up with a way to raise it higher on the bed rails and building a new rear door - I will eventually do this if it doesn't sell.
Location, just east of Vancouver/Camas Washington.
