Flippac question

What is the aluminum channel that holds the tent down on the flippac called? I'm trying to find some the same size and have a hard time locating it.

Hmmm. I believe it is called an aluminum "extrusion" if you are referring to the channel that holds the tent material to the shell.

Still having trouble finding it but I think I am on the right "track". Thanks Tacodoc, making some major flippac changes, will keep you posted once I make some progress. Making sure I have the things I need before hand.

The channel you're looking for is called awning rail. 3/8" is the most common size and that's what Flip-Pac uses. Most canvas shops will sell some variety - John

on a similar note does anyone happen to know what size torsion bar FRP uses just to see if its available elsewhere for less money?

yeah thats about right,, i'm talking with a manufacturer about having torsion bars made, crossing my fingers they can do it for a reasonable cost.
