FlipPac rain fly in wind

SO I was camping last night (degrees and windy) and I used the Rain Fly as protection but it blew off... twice before I gave up. (it was dark and cold)
I see it has some loops sewn in.... how do y'all attach them? To what?

Which fly do you own? The SLO Sails fly has loops and 1" ladder buckles sewn into the hem. I use 1" webbing and cinch it under the lid and to the rear truck bumper.

I use a small length of 550 cord at each loop. the fronts I attach to the legs and the rear to the latches on each side.

I just use different sized bungee cords for each corner. I attache the front around the bars on the ARB, the passenger rear goes to the tire carrier and the driver side rear goes to the corner of the bumper.
