Flood lights

I've got a no-name 14" led bar on the back of mine... 24 3w Cree leds with flood light pattern. I think it's rated for 5k lumens or something like that. Its bo-name Chinese though so who knows how over-inflated that is. Its more than enough light to work by, light up camp, back up with, etc.

Another consideration for lighting up camp is that having an extremely bright light not far above eye level makes for absolutely blinding glare when looking anywhere near the vehicle.

With the cheap Chinese LEDs, a lot of them have plastic lenses that aren't sealed properly. It's common to see them in use here in the Philippines but the guys pull the plastic lens and put in glass and they seal them with a bead of silicon to keep them from getting condensation and water inside.

For setting up camp, as anickode said, it helps to get the light up higher. An LED worklight on a painter's pole is an easy, inexpensive way to do this. Before LEDs I just put my Coleman lantern on a pole and used that.
