My small camper needs new flooring, existing is standard sheet "linoleum" showing wear, what have you used? If any of you have pics I'd like to see them.
Really, nobody has replaced camper flooring? I know there are a lot of various sheet goods, vinyl "planking", carpet, etc., I'm hoping for some feedback (negative and positive), on what you used and experience with it.
I have used stick tiles, and vinyl planking. Stick tiles worked well, but did not look great for long. They got scratched up fairly quickly after the first season.
The truck camper has "expensive" vinyl planking ($55 / 15 sq ft on sale) , it has held up really well so far. Scratches don't really show and it is easy to clean.
We only needed 2 boxes so pretty inexpensive flooring if it needs to be replaced. Although I PL'd to the plywood so I hope it lasts a long time!
Have you thought about cork? I put a cork floor in my old VW camper and it was awesome. It's a good sound dampener, hypoallergenic, very water resistent and is nice on the feet in the cold morning. Easy to install too and really not too expensive overall. It's fairly durable too as my dog's claws can attest to.
