And I suspect that you paid him paypal for goods and services and paid the paypal fee ??
I have a feeling that those of us stupid enough to send him money as a gift/family option are not going to see their lights
I paid as friend/gift and got mine. I'm sure it helped to be early in the original order but like other have said I'd doubt he'd ruin his name here for some lights. If he was to flee the country none of us would have gotten any lights... He's probably where we all should be, away from civilization

I reported the thread to the Mod's. This guys name is Kamaran Wain, a well known scammer on many forums.
Google his name, you'll find results from NAXJA.org/Pirate/MUD/CherokeeForum and other's, as well as links to others where he had scammed people out of their hard earned funds. He has used many screen names and even chimed in on threads as someone else defending himself..
You wont like what you find.. I'm glad some of you got what you paid for, many have not. Had it been one instance or so it could be forgiven as a mistake, repetitive issues does not equate to a nice guy, he destroyed his own reputation long ago.

Seems like a really odd way to scam people - post lights for sale (cheap) and then send out most of them (with some getting extras for free) and then skip out on sending a few people theirs?
Sounds more like its an issue of him handling some personal "challenges". Give him a chance perhaps to come through... but that easy for me to say as I got mine already...
If he doesn't come through and someone needs them bad let me know and I'll do what I can to share what I got to lessen the damage.

Name posted above does not match the name on the email I received. I sent an email (to the address used in Paypal) yesterday asking for an update and received a prompt reply.

I just took a look, are you referencing Mike934? I looked quickly at his other threads, other than also residing in SoCal I see no evidence he is Kamaran. Not saying he's not.. Kamaran is slick.
However, lots of guys are buying LED lighting at wholesale and flipping on the net these days.
EDIT: I now believe that guy on JF is the same guy.

I got a pm from him this morning too. I got a little worried because he was not returning my emails and/or pm's and....I sent him paypal as a gift (no paypal relief/support). I'm all about giving people second chances...I hope, if it's the same guy, that he uses this second chance to start a new. As a side note, it would have been nice if the moderators would have given an explaination and then locked the thread instead of eliminating it??? Just a thot....

Similar situation; I had come close to buying some LED pod's from him about two years ago. Never did though. I remember that he was warned by the OP's to become a sponsor and pay his fee's. I don't think he ever did. Something on his Jeep or whatever was always breaking, no funds this week...
Threads are locked and deleted if people can't play by the rules.
I do believe that you will eventually get your lights. Next time though; search the web. These lights are for sale all over the place.

I was going to buy some but then I Googled the LED's he was selling a found that I could buy them cheaper online vs via his post.
That was when he 1st posted them for sale and people were saying what I great deal it was - I am newer around here for posting so did not want to insult anyone by posting links to same/similar lights for less $.
Hope it all works out for everyone - a quick Google search is always a good way to research things

I hooked one up to a 9v battery for 24 hours and it brought the battery down to 8.11v so I am thinking of making a tent light out of one or two of these.
