Fly Fishing in Southern Oregon

If you were to draw an East/West line between the coast running through Eugene and Bend then over to the Idaho border...I'm looking to fish these areas in late July and late September again.

I like small and medium streams to wade. I practice catch and release. I rather fish for small wild fish alone than deal with crowds attempting to catch a whopper.

I'm not looking for you to reveal your secret spot unless you want to trade for one of mine in the Sierra Nevadas :sombrero:

Tight lines and thanks for the advice.

I'm guessing you are going to be fishing Southeastern Oregon by the description? Fish the Owyhee river below the dam for a chance at some huge brown trout. Bring the float tube along and fish Mann Lake for Lahontan cutthroat trout. That area offers some amazing fishing for huge fish and it's off the grid so to speak. You'll never read about it in a magazine or anything, but the fishing is awesome.
