Fold down table for rear door?

If you had a P38 you could order the picnic leg kit for the spare tire cover. Even comes with a table cloth.

Ben, do you set a stove on that? I had thought of using HDPE for mine, but wasn't sure how it would do with the heat of a single burner on it.

You can buy the stainless panels from Columbia Rovers or just make your own (that's the easiest part of this project).

You can run a Jetboil or other cannister stove on the HDPE, but you can't run something like an MSR Whisperlite or XGK. You can run a Coleman 2 burner, propane, or butane stove too.

The HDPE is kind of slick... I used King Starlite XL on mine because I wanted black. I wound up putting some shelving liner on the top to make it less slippy.

Steve and Ben,

You guys have great looking kitchen panels. Very nice.

Steve, love the coffee grinder. What kind is that?

Ben, when you driving that thing to Boise to see your sister? I wanna check out your rig.

And to give credit where credit is due, the man himself, Mr. Marc Olivares who designed and built both Steve and my tables and I think maybe 3 more.

And just a great shot of the table in action...

It's a Zassenhaus hand grinder. You can find them on ebay fairly inexpensively. A while ago they moved production out of Germany and from what I've read the quality has suffered. I bought a used German one and the grind consistency is as good as my $200 home grinder.

Yep, big thanks to Marc for the parts list he used so I could come up with something similar for my old DII. Loved that table. He designed it very well.

Thanks, Jason. If I had to do it over I would probably do the table like Marc did all of his... 1/2in pressed baltic birch with laminate on both sides. It's lighter and not as slick!!

Yea, we're still trying to come up. My schedule is just insanely busy these days.

Just here...
I made mine with extras laying around the garage. Butcher block, continuous hinge, cabinet magnets with rare earth mags in them (to hold it closed) and 1/8" coated dog rope. Holds 30+ lbs and is big enough to hold the stove and do prep on.
