Folding director's chair?

I read an article in Cycle Canada Magazine many years ago in which an experienced BMW airhead touring rider described his gear. He had a (wood) fold up directors chair that fit in a saddlebag, and a roll up table. I have never been able to find a chair that folded very small at all. Any ideas? I wouldn't mind finding a small (maybe 2 feet square ) roll up table too. I want to take these on my motorcycle.
Thanks,
Dean

I suspected it may be, but it seems like 22 inches would be too long for a motorcycle saddlebag? Could there be another chair that is shorter?

Kermit chairs and BMWs are quite a pair. I'd wager the #1 user group to fully endorse, buy and adore the Kermit chair is the BMW touring set.

I have been on the hunt for a folding directors hieght chair for use at events with Disabled Explorers....As an amputee I need to sit but it is rude to sit when someone approaches, so I am looking for something taller so I can sit & talk.

I knew about the Kermit years ago but completely forgot about it. The guys that have them sure love them. Wow! The price is a bit scary, but they seem to be a real quality keepsake. That $129 price tag is still a bit tough to swallow.

I just read the thread about them on ADV Rider, and it's pretty convincing.
The only problem is the Kermit at 22" packed still doesn't fit in a saddlebag. The original article I was referring to suggested that the chair the guy was using fit in a saddlebag. Is there something else out there that I'm not finding?
