SOLD!
1967 Johnson Military M-762 3/4 Ton Trailer For Sale
A family member is selling their 1967 Johnson Corporation M762 trailer. The trailer was overhauled by the military at the MCLB Barstow in 1985.
It was bought to restore for a family member to tow behind their jeep, but unfortunately I am moving out of state and can't transport it with me (my M762 and my M416 come first). It is currently located in Eastern California, but this weekend (4/8) it will be moved to Southern California.
Condition:
The landing leg has been broken off and is missing.
The brake handle bracket is bent outward slightly.
One fender has a very slight twist to it, but should be easy to straighten.
The front passenger side of the trailer has a dent in it where the trailer was jackknifed, again should be easy to straighten.
The rear corners of the trailer had grocery store shelf legs welded to it when I bought it; I've since cut them off but have not ground them completely down.
Where the bed meets the rear frame there is cancer present. The rear end of the trailer will need a bit of TLC. I had planned on bobbing off 2".
No lights are present.
Not registered.
Data plates are currently removed, as I was prepping for blasting before the decision was made to sell the trailer.
Asking $650 for it without the data plates or $700 with data plates. Sold As-Is!
PRICE DROP: $600 w/o data plates, $650 with data plates. Trailer is located near Palm Springs, CA.
