Up for sale is my 1971 Land Rover Series IIa. The truck is sitting on a galvanized chassis with a newish Rovers North engine. The truck is using a Weber Carb. Also installed is:
- RoverDrive overdrive
- Rocky Mountain door tops
- Parabolic springs/shocks/shackles
- Steering damper
- Reverse/work light
The paint job was done within the last 5 years. No rust in the usual spots. Bulkhead, door frames, and wheel wells are all solid. Tires still have good tread It has been serviced by Cityside Garage. I know restored is loaded word. This isnt a Lanny Clark restoration. The truck has some apologies here and there, but overall is a great vehicle for someone who wants to get in and drive. This isnt a weird franken rover from eBay or some shoddy early 80's UK truck that has been resprayed either.
Price is 25k obo. I'm into the truck for way more than 25k, but I am trying to move into something bigger. I would consider trades for a 109, 110, D90, or Land Cruiser.
