This incredibly low milage, completely rust free, un-bastardized example of a 710 M Pinzgauer has been with us since October 2003. We purchased it from Expedition Imports, the west coast authority on Pinzgauer’s, in near new condition. It has lived a very cushy life on a vineyard, always garage kept and used as a very light duty people carrier only on property explaining the extremely low milage. The rear area seats which carry 8 adults fold down to feature a flat factory diamond plating bed which is incredibly useful. It has never been abused off road and all drive train components such as front, center, and rear lockers are in working order. Brakes are also very strong. Engine is in top shape especially after switching to a Pertronix ignition system. Also added was a must needed oil temperature gauge. Best thing about this truck is that it has zero leaks and is free of frame and body panel rust, very rare on these older vehicles. Those interested in a collectors/concourse version of a Pinzgauer should pay close attention to this truck as it is completely original. The seats are original with no rips. The engine housing is also completely original and in near perfect condition. The cabin is unchanged from its days of military duty as a communications truck including two factory rifle holders, axe holder, and original tool kit. When we purchased the truck it came with a full length canvas roof which we converted to the cab only cover. All parts used in the conversion were correct and original to that configuration of the 710M. We of course still have the original rear hoop and full length canvas, which has a tear and would go with the sale. Also included in the sale is the old original military style ignition system along with other parts such as a set of new rubber axel boots. I can’t stress enough how good this Pinzgauer is. It is in great cosmetic shape and starts on a dime and drives strong. The low and hi speed transfer case shifts smoothly without issue. The lockers engage and disengage easily. The transmission is accurate and shifts smoothly. Only the pictures do this great vehicle better justice. The truck is located in Napa, CA with clean California title.
