SALE PENDING!! I will leave the add up until the truck leaves my possession.
Thank you Expo Portal!

Location: Norman, Oklahoma , USA

Description:
I am selling my ambulance that i have had for several years, I got the truck in college and used it to ski all winter long in CO. I am the third owner, including the military and the truck only have 12,850 ORIGINAL MILES on it! I can simply testify that this thing is the ultimate beast. I just moved to OK from Durango, CO this last year and i cannot keep the beast anymore. While i lived in CO i drove this thing all winter conquering mountain passes and killing offroad trails, there is nothing that this thing cant handle and when you get to where you are trying to go you can hit the E brake, climb through the hole in the cabin and be in your bedroom! The cabin has a gun rack, shelves, A/C unit, diesel drip heater, two benches with so much storage! and a leaf style in slit that can slide in between the benches and make a huge queen sized bed! Foam cushions included! While the beast still only has 3 speed transmission in it, it can still go 55 all day long and get surprisingly good gas mileage (12-16 mpg on a 350/day trip). The TH400 transmission is one of the strongest longest lasting transmission that they every put into Chevy trucks, and this one will surely last for many many more years. 24 Volt HVAC system has been removed and changed into a 12V system by the previous owner who had much more experience than i did.
I have replaced glow plugs and rubber vacuum transmission lines within the last year, and put two new batteries in it. I bought it with less the 9,000 miles on it and have not even hit 4,000 miles in it. This truck has taken me on most of the best trips in my entire life, and now its time for someone else to appreciate and enjoy what having a camper on a 4x4 is all about! camping, hunting, skiing, boating, or just sight seeing you can get up and personal with anything in this baby!

Engine Specs.

Yes, there is a rubber gasket between front and back there is also a sliding door with a window to the cab! Even has a small Velcro drape. No, the rubber gasket has not been replaced but it shows minimal wear and tear. I have driven through rain, sleet and snow over the last 2 years and no leaks inside the gasket or anywhere else inside the box or cab.

Box on the back is steel, as is the rest of the vehicle. Built to be a beast.

If no luck on here, you might try on a prepper website.

I don't know which ones, or if it would actually prove helpfull, but couldn't hurt.

Let's go!
Just for continuity's sake, I picked up this rig from OK a few weeks ago and drove it 1100 miles back to PA.

We're planning to build ourselves a capable expo camper, and I'll start a build thread together once I get a few essentials wrapped up. I'll throw a link here once I start the thread.

It's already a fun build! :sombrero:
