Selling my 2006 FWC Eagle. Love this camper, and not in a hurry to sell, but a growing family and work commitments are keeping me from fully enjoying it. Time to let it go to a new home.
$8000. Sorry, no trades.
Some info:
Started its life as a full camper. The water system and icebox have since been removed so its now basically a shell.
Atwood forced air propane furnace, with digital thermostat
20lb propane tank
Yakima tracks with cross bars
140w Kyocera monocrystaline solar panel mounted to roof
10amp SunSaver solar charge controller
2 6v deep cycle wired in series for the 12v system (few years old, but seem to still hold a good charge)
Fantastic Fan 4000R roof vent
Thermal pack
Back wall mounted steps
8’ ARB side awning
4 manual crank jacks (have an adapter for using a drill)
4 40lb gas struts to help with raising the roof
Stainless steel counter top
“Custom built” (home built) side dinette style seating
Table with removable base for using inside or outside camper
Sliding storage drawer for a pantry where the ice box used to live.
Interior lights converted to LED
Camper is well used but has lots of life left. I assume there was an incident at some point in its past life, the back left corner jack doesn’t match the other three, and the bracket appears a little bent, but hasn’t been an issue for me.
It has a fixed (non-sliding) front window with a 2007 sticker on it. I know they had problems with the original sliding windows leaking, but I can’t vouch as to why it was replaced. Or maybe it was factory and it was a late build 2006 with an early 2007 window? Who knows.
Four years ago I replaced and resealed all the roof screws. Camper had lived its previous life in dry Arizona. We had a small leak in the front roof after bringing it to Minnesota. Hasn’t been a problem since. It’s been garage stored since being in Minnesota.
Mattress foam was replaced three years ago.
I’ve carried it on my 1st gen Tacoma, my 2nd gen Tacoma and my 2nd gen Tundra. All carried it well. Sorry, but I no longer have the 2nd gen Tacoma mounting brackets. I have also never wired it to any of my trucks. Solar does a kick ass job of keeping it charged. If it’s of use to you you are welcome to the 2x4 wood base I built to clear the bedsides on my Tundra. Also welcome to the 2x6 heavy duty rolling dolly I use to roll it into my garage.
Pictures are from last summer. Still clearing out the garage to get it out and give it a good cleaning. I can take any additional pictures requested once that’s done.
