FOR SALE: 2011 Chevy Express 2500 4x4 (Quigley conversion)

Location: Rock Hill, SC (greater Charlotte, NC metro area)

PRICE: $14,900

I bought this Chevy Express 4x4 cargo van (with passenger van windows) to convert into a weekend camper van, but I just don’t have the time to build it out like I hoped, so I’m selling it to someone who wants it as-is or for their own project. Some known issues listed further below in the listing. Current list price is for the van AS-IS before any of those issues are addressed. As I have time, I’ll try to get some of the known issues addressed, but DIYers can save some money if they want to buy the van as is.

- 2011 Chevrolet Express 2500 cargo van with passenger van window option
- Quigley 4x4 Conversion
- 6.0 L V8
- 144,330 miles as of February 20, 2026
- Body is overall in fairly nice shape for a 15 year old Pennsylvania van. A few visible dings/defects, and some defects around the rockers.
- Pennsylvania state maintained fleet vehicle, so there is an expectation that the vehicle would have been regularly maintained before I took ownership
- Transmission replaced, according to the Carfax report, at 123,763 miles at Sylvester Chevrolet in Peckville, PA
- I installed a newer steering wheel with cruise control and audio control buttons, but the BCM would need to be reprogrammed before they’ll work, old steering wheel can be included if you don’t want the newer steering wheel
- Swivel seat installed on front passenger seat
- Dinitrol 958/977 two-stage undercoating

KNOWN ISSUES:
- Pennsylvania state owned vehicle, so there was some undercarriage rust which was professionally mitigated (laser rust removal and dry ice deep cleaning) with new Dinitrol 958/977 undercoating, work completed by Merritt Motor Co in Kannapolis, NC
- Some bolt holes in the floor from where the state appeared to have installed tool boxes or mounted other internal equipment
- Some intermittent vibration feedback in the brake pedal when braking at slow speed; I think it may be a wheel speed sensor or ABS sensor that needs to be replaced, but I will try to get it looked at soon.
- Power door lock on sliding door doesn't always work.
- Hose to the rear Heat/AC has a small slow leak. I left this issue unresolved to let buyer decide to repair or remove (I was intending to remove because I was planning to install a solar/battery powered rooftop AC unit or 12 volt mini split for the back cargo area)
- Some holes in the dashboard plastic where the previous owner appeared to have installed electrical equipment
- Rooftop lights were removed and holes filled by the dealer who purchased the vehicle from the state and sold it to me, some remaining residue on the roof with a vehicle number, which is not visible to me while standing on the ground (because I was thinking about installing a high top, I never had any plans to address the residue, see picture for details
- The spare tire dopdown cable stopped working and was removed, spare tire looks to be in decent shape but the spare tire wheel probably needs to be replaced; also need a new spare tire dropdown mechanism if you want to store a spare tire in the stock location
- 4x4 indicator light not working (I have a replacement but haven't installed yet)

Included if wanted by the buyer:
- a jack-knife fold down bench seat that I was planning to refabric and use in the rear; the jack-knife frame appears to be in good working order but the fabric and cushions are in poor shape
- pre 2002 Express Regency conversion van leather seats which would require some modification to the 2011 Express seat base and seat belts to install
- ducting that was removed for the rear HVAC unit- plywood wall template for area between the floor and windows
