Key Features:

  • Powerful Performance: Equipped with a 6.7 Powerstroke Diesel engine and a smooth 6-speed Allison automatic transmission, this camper has 159,000 miles and is deleted for enhanced reliability. Regeared to 5.38 gear ratio to have no problem turning the massive 335/80/r20 Continental MPT81 tires.
  • 4x4 Capability: Factory-installed 4x4 with manual hubs and floor shifter (High/Low/Neutral) ensures you can tackle any terrain. Electronically locking front differential and limited slip rear differential make this even more capable off pavement. Dual fuel tanks provide a generous 66-gallon capacity, giving you a range of nearly 750 miles with a consistent 11.5 mpg.
  • Solid Build: Originally converted by the Glaval Bus Company, this camper was converted in 2019 and has never faced a Midwestern winter and boasts no rust, ensuring a long-lasting investment.
  • Comfortable Ride: Designed for easy handling, you can drive this beauty with just a couple of fingers on the wheel. Features include cruise control and a spacious interior that seats six comfortably.
  • Expedition-Ready: Upgraded with a single rear wheel conversion by DBL Designs, front and rear winches (both Smittybilt X20 17,500 lbs), and a robust lift kit, this camper is built to handle the toughest trails.
  • Fully Equipped Living Space: Enjoy a full-size bed plus bunk bed, an air mattress option for the front seats, a 12V TV, and Bluetooth stereo. The interior is designed for comfort, keeping road noise to a minimum. Unlike in an LMTV build, enjoy easy conversation with other passengers.
  • Off-Grid Capabilities: With 400 watts of solar power, dual lithium batteries (400 amp hours), 45 gallons fresh water storage, you can easily go over two weeks off the grid. Dual burner induction cooktop, Isotherm fridge and separate freezer under the bed ensure easy food preparation and ample food storage. Dual alternators mean the engine charges batteries at 120 amps per hour, charging the entire system in just over 3 hours. 11 gallon hot water heater is heated by the engine coolant. 20 gallon gray water tank for shower and sink and a cassette toilet mean no messy black tank to deal with. The camper features an electric induction cooktop, Isotherm refrigerator, and a convenient cassette toilet for easy disposal.
  • Communication: Starlink satellite internet. Mounted on the roof, starlink provides internet while in motion and enables WiFi calling anyplace on the continent. Transferrable and only pay for when you want it. WeBoost cell phone range extender provides a useable signal when there is a very small signal available.
  • Climate Control: Stay cozy with a Chinese diesel furnace for winter warmth, and beat the heat with a window air conditioner modified to fit under the bus.
  • Storage: Large exterior storage compartments as well as a massive under-bed storage area provide a place to put all your gear depending on what adventure you pick.

Recent Upgrades:

  • New valve body and transmission control module, steering components, including steering gearbox, BCM, tires, alternators, starter, water pump, and more, with only about 20,000 miles on these upgrades. The entire conversion has seen approximately 50,000 miles, with adventures all over the U.S., including Alaska and the Arctic Ocean.

Known Issues:

While this camper is ready for adventure, it does have some minor quirks:

  • P054F error code (clears with included obd2 tool and fixable with software upgrade)
  • Airbag light due to upgraded seating
  • A few trim pieces are missing and minor cosmetic wear on the hood and above windshield.
  • Speedometer is off. Calibration module was not plugged back in when installing new BCM.
