We have outgrown our rig. Its just to small for all four of us and the dog to camp out of.
This is the diesel version of the Chevy Colorado. So it is fuel efficient and has lots of power and torque to haul the habitat and your gear around. Goodyear Wrangler Kevlar tires are 95%. Mileage is around 105,000. The truck is the Z71 trim and has the good Bose sound system with factory navigation and Apple CarPlay. The truck has been well maintained but is not perfect. It has a couple door dings (parking lots) and some wear on the driver's seat. There is a small ding on corner of the rear bumper. The only thing I'm aware of that needs repair is the AC. It is currently not blowing cold air. I believe it to be a wire chaffing issue which is really the only issue these trucks seem to have. I bought the truck new in 2017 and then put the habitat on it shortly after purchase.
The Habitat has just about every option. There are hatches on each side for easy access to your gear. It has the dual sleeping platforms so that there is room for 4 up top. It has the aircraft track on top with 3 cross bars. The tent fabric is in very good condition. Also included is the Nemo side awning.
Additionally, the truck comes with the decked draw system. I have found this to be a good way to stow gear for my trips. I have removed my fridge and drop slide from the rig. I will also remove the solar panels and battery system as they will be used in a future build.
I have an extra set of steel wheels for the truck that are currently mounted with Blizzak winter tires. Those can be included for $500 more.
Entire rig is priced at $36,000. I'm located in NW North Carolina. Please reach out if you have questions - 828-773-4854.
