Asking Price: $89,500

Up for sale is my 2021 Kimberley Karavan Eco Suite, one of the most capable and self-sufficient off-road campers available. Designed and built in Australia and shipped to me in the US in early 2022, lightly used, this unit has been garage-kept since new and is in excellent condition. My wife and I have had this trailer out probably a total of about 60 nights. Our typical use case is to travel to a location, find a nice dispersed campsite, and use the trailer as a home base while exploring the area and it's been a great trailer for that. This trailer tows great both on and offroad. Title in hand.

@MTBMark do you have the details on the bike rack you made?

So much nicer that ISI.
Yes, here are some details:

When we got our Kimberley, I knew we would need a bike rack solution. I wasn't a fan of the iSi bikerack and we never really used the basket on the front of the trailer for anything specific, so I figured I could build something to replace the basket that allows us to use any bike rack tray meant for a roof rack. Our bike rack tray of choice is the 1up USA tray.

Anyway, as you can see in the pictures below, I started by just building a rectangle out of steel that had about the same base foot print of the basket. I added some 1/2" blocks of delrin plastic to the storage box under the rack attached with some VHB tape. When the tongue box it closed, the rack rests against those delrin plastic blocks. I then added on to that base steel rectangle to recreate the same attachment points that the basket uses to attach to the trailer. This way the bike rack moves up and out of the way just like the basket does when opening the tongue box. From there I just added some steal tubing for the bike racks to clamp onto and then finally a horizontal bar connecting those two bars at the front. This is great for hanging our Trasharoo off of, or drying towels. We have been using it for a couple of years now and it's been rock solid. The bikes are amazingly stable in this position floating between the rear axle on the truck and the axle on the trailer.

Hopefully that makes sense. Let me know if you have any questions.

These KK trailers are amazing. Fit and finish details abound.
Especially compared to the other so called “off-road” options on the market. Not to mention the US domestic options from Thor, Forest River, and Winnebago.
Not inexpensive but buy once, cry once.
GLWS!

My wife and I recently viewed this trailer and it is a beauty. We are impressed with how well the seller has taken care of it. You can be sure that all upgrades have been done with precision. If you are interested in purchasing this type of trailer purchase yours from Mark and Ursula, I’d highly recommend a video or in-person walk through. You will not be disappointed. The only reason we don’t own it now is because we decided on a different size in the end. Go for it!

Hi. Does this unit have factory winterized plumbing?

It does have tank heating pads and some added protection for low temperatures. I have had it in temps down to about 25 without issue. That said I wouldn’t want to take it into conditions colder than that.

Interesting. Was it cold inside the unit at that temp or was it the fact water lines could freeze?
