For Sale: 2021 AT Atlas 5.5' (fits full size 1/2 ton trucks with 5.5' bed) Mario said it is the same topper for all of the full size 1/2 ton trucks with 5.5' bed.

Location: Vacaville, CA (Will drive to AT Overland AZ, OR, etc for install)

Price: $19,500: $23,500 (includes install at AT dealer)

No Functional Problems. Item is in near like-new condition, has only minor wear from minimal use.

This build would cost $31K+ to build today not including taxes.

Unfortunately, I will be selling my highly optioned ATLAS topper. 2 months after taking delivery from AT Overland in Prescott, I went in for my first of 7 surgeries on both of my wrists over 2.5 years (bone removals, fusions, etc), which I only mention to say that this topper has had minimal use and is in excellent condition. The only reason I'm selling is because Overlanding isn't really in the cards any more for me, as much as I would like it to be. We have taken it on a few light camping trips to rv parks but haven't used it to its potential due to my limitations. I had plans of getting custom cabinetry in the back of the truck but that never materialized, so everything is nearly exactly as it was when it came from AT Overland. For someone who is/was planning on getting a highly optioned ATLAS, this one will provide you with an awesome topper and save you a lot of money. It has lived in beautiful Northern California in moderate weather. No leaks. No holes or cuts in the topper since I had it installed. I have had zero issues with it whatsoever. It looks killer and gets a lot of attention everywhere I go.

Notes:

2 weeks after taking delivery, I had 3M Paint Protection Film installed professionally. I did this to prevent scratches in the paint and for ease of maintenance. Light scratches heal themselves in the sun and cleaning is a breeze.

The only way I was going to put an awning on this topper was if it was rated as "free standing". Not too many in the world boast this rating. I went with the South African Made Bush Company 270 XT MAX. In my opinion, the best made awning on the planet. It is built like a tank and doesn't require any guy ropes or poles. I haven't seen another AT topper with one on it. It was expensive, but well worth the cost. I have an extra zip-up casing which will be included in the sale.

The Truma VarioHeat and Full insulation liner is an incredible option. The coldest I stayed in it was 20F and I kept the inside at 50F. Once heated to temperature the Truma drops down to a very quite fan speed and is barely noticeable. There's good reason Mario only uses the Truma on these builds, it is impeccable.

The MaxTrax mount is made in the USA by Expedition Essentials. It is solid and double locks your recovery boards in to place.

I coordinated with Brad at the Colorado Fairing Company to have a custom fairing built for the front. I used 80/20 aluminum to mount the fairing to the topper, which works perfectly. I used the existing stainless screw holes on the underside/front of the topper to mount the 80/20 to. Since it is mounted to the ATLAS, there is no need to install a rack on your truck's roof, no holes drilled etc. I placed a 6" wide piece of 3m paint protection film across from side to side on the roof of the Tundra and channelled extruded rubber for the fairing to rest in. I will provide a length of new high quality channeled extruded rubber for the buyer. There is no rubbing, no noise, and no possibility of damage to the roof of the pickup.

We'll do the transfer at an AT Overland Dealer. This is truly the best option for all involved. I have already spoken to Mario, at AT Overland in Prescott, and he would be glad to do the transfer from my truck to the new owner's truck and he'll provide the new owner with a full orientation of the topper. I am also willing to drive to the Oregon and Salt Lake dealers, however I haven't spoken with them yet. If those locations work better for you, let me know and I'll coordinate to see if they do transfers.

I truly am pleased and amazed at the quality of craftsmanship of this thing. Mario and the folks at AT Overland have been amazing any time I call with questions or advice needed. I'm hopeful it finds a home where it will be appreciated and used for many adventures. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Sorry you are banged up. I hope you heal well. What company was going to make the cabinets? Thank You. Peace.
Thank you. I hadn't narrowed it down yet to one company. I had considered either doing my own work or having a company that builds custom sprinter van interiors. I talked with the folks at Goose-gear and they were gracious with their time and expertise in sharing some design elements that they use. Cheers

Sorry to hear about the health problems - hope you'll get back at it one day! Any idea what the total weight is? Thanks.
Thank you. I haven't had the topper weighed but I can make a pretty good guess. Base weight is 360lbs, Awning is 75lbs, Heater is 20lbs, Max Tract mount is 10lbs, boards are 7.5x4= 30lbs, which adds up to 495lbs. The roof hatch and maxair fan might add a few lbs, along with the awning brackets, and window toward the front. So, I would say a good estimate for total weight would be 550lbs. That should be very close. Hope this helps. Cheers
