I'm assuming there will be no issues registering the device and what all to get it going, getting support from Garmin and so forth? I see you did a group buy of them, maybe this was asked? (Device registration does not seem to require proof of purchase that I can tell.)

That's a good question, but I suspect just like with SPOT devices, they don't care where you got it because they make their money off the subscription. I don't know about the warranty situation though.

This is the second group buy round I did on these, the members had no issues at all registering. They are all sealed and not opened, directly from a Garmin distributor.
