This oil burner is bone stock, with lots of brand new and nearly new parts::
Nearly New: Tires, front brake rotors, brake pads...
Brand New: High pressure fuel pump, fuel pressure solenoid, fuel filters, ( 1 on vehicle & 1 in box ) fuel filter head, radiator, and coolant. Dealer inspected timing belt ( good for another 40k )....
The color is dark green, with gray interior..
CRD has 95,000 miles on it, and as you read has had the fuel injection system completely rebuilt with all new parts.. The exterior is still showroom shape, no scratches, no fading, garage kept. The glow plugs have little wear, as it was plugged in every night through the cold months. No rust.
This jeep was meticulously maintained, and all recalls taken care of.
Why did the fuel system fail? I have many theories on that question, and Chrysler has no answers....
