$8500 OBO
I am wanting to sell my trailer. Built it up beginning in 2015 and finished within that year. It was taken on a few overland adventures with the family and we had some great times in all 4 seasons. Since 2020 it has been used once a year for a 24 hour mountain bike race that I compete in and stored otherwise. It would be great if someone out there could get it out in the wild and use it as it was intended. I put a-lot of thought into the design and it works very well. When tent is deployed there is room for a 6-6’3” person to walk underneath overhang in annex. I always towed it with my FJ 80 with a 6” lift and trailer height was perfect. It is a little heavy for an 80 so it was slow going up the hills but it tows very well. If you have an 80 you know what I speak of. It has a Pintle Hitch and I never changed it out because it was easy to operate and not noisy etc. I removed the Military Wheels and replace the drums for Toyota compatible units and have 35” BFG KM3 Muds on black powder coated Landcruiser wheels.
Here is a list of Things worth mentioning:
-Custom Made Roll Cage Style Tent Support Structure With Hinge System to allow for Elevated Sleep Position
-Tepui 4p Ruggedized Tent with Zip on Annex/Changing Room and dual density Mattress (Bed 96”x72”)(In very good shape for age)(No bad smell or wear)
-Tepui 6x6 Side Mount Awning
-Pull out Kitchen with Sink (Hot and Cold Water), Mounted Coleman Stove (Plumbed with Propane)
-32 Gallon Under mounted Fresh Water Tank (Top Mounted Fill)
-Interior Mounted 12V 100AH AGM Battery
-Power Control Panel with USB Charging Ports
-2 Roof Cage Mounted Solar Panels (With Tilt)
-Electric Water Pump
-Tongue Mounted Propane tank with Dual Regulator for Stove and Water Heater
-Instant On Hot Water Heater(Propane)
-Front Mounted Shower (Hot and Cold Quick Disconnect) (I’ll Throw in the Shower Tent)
-35” BFG KM3 Muds on black powder coated Landcruiser wheels (Good Rubber)
-Rear 2.5” Receiver Hitch for Bike Rack
-AZ Permanent Plate and Title
It is showing some age but a few cans of spray paint and some elbow grease would have it looking new again. Here is a list of things that could be replaced to make it look new again:
-Replace some of the wiring to the Solar Panels (Cracking in a few places)
-Charging Controller LCD no Longer Functions but unit works fine. Battery is always Charged.
-Repaint the Roll Cage
-New drawer faces
-Install a new Tent Cover (Sun is Starting to fade it)
-Side Mounted Shade could use a new cover
……..I am in Tucson AZ….. let me know if you are interested. I can send more picture and answer questions.
