I've decided to sell my G project truck. I purchased a two-owner, rust-free example out of the PNW a couple years ago from a fellow clubgwagen member. It was super clean when I got it, and already had heavy duty springs and Koni Raid shocks installed earlier in 2022. I tried to keep the look and road drivability of the truck stock-ish, but invested heavily in further improving its off-road capabilities. I've added what I think are the best available components (all purchased new) to prepare the truck for extended single-handed off-roading and overlanding, including steel bumpers front and rear, rock sliders, skid plates (engine/trans, transfer case and fuel tank), new 16" closed-tear Ashtaroth wheels, on-board ARB twin compressor and removable 9500lb winch. I even added an audiophile stereo with wireless Carplay/Android, handsfree calling and high res backup camera. I'm not in town much this summer so have recruited a good friend and very reputable Chicagoland independent mechanic and race shop to represent the truck.
