The Spring cleaning effort continues. :sombrero:

Up for sale today are several travel maps of South America, and two from Central America.
If you're interested in the maps, send me a personal message. And read to the end to see a special offer!

Most of the maps are from International Travel Maps and Books (ITMB) in Richmond, British Columbia.
ITMB is a great source for maps of many countries. New maps can be purchased direct from their web site, http://www.itmb.com/travel_maps.htm

The ITMB maps are not topo maps, but the general elevation is indicated by color in 1000 meter increments. The maps show major roads, cities and towns, national parks, and natural features like highest mountains, rivers and lakes.

Prices of the maps range from $11 to $14 each on the ITMB web site, depending on the size of the map, plus postage,. I'd like to get $5 for each of these used maps, postage included to addresses in USA.

First, a set of 4 maps that, together, show the entire South American continent. They are the same scale (1:4 million) so they can be assembled to create a wall-size map. The map titles are South America Northeast, South America Northwest,
Brasil and Argentina/Chile. Price for the set of 4: $20 shipped.

Second, the ITMB travel map of Ecuador. This map is scale 1:1 million, so it shows more detail (mostly the names of smaller communities) than the maps listed above. For some reason, I have three of these maps. Price for one map: $5 shipped.

Third, the ITMB travel map of Venezuela, scale 1:750,000. Like the other ITMB maps, this one shows general elevation, major roads, cities and towns, and natural features. Price $5 shipped.

Fourth, the ITMB travel map of Panama, scale 1:800,000. Panama is a small country, so this map is not as large as the ones listed above. The map includes an inset map of the region along the Canal, between Panama City and Colon. The map includes notes about the history and natural features of this fascinating country. Price $4 shipped.

Fifth, the ITMB travel map of Guatemala and El Salvador, scale: 1:500,000. The map includes southern Belize and much of Honduras as well. Like the map of Panama, this map shows lots of detail about roads and towns, plus inset notes about the history of the region. Price $4 shipped.

That's it for the ITMB maps. I have several other maps that might be of interest.

Sixth, a Venezuela roadmap, Rutas de Venezuela, with an index of place names around the country. The back side of the map shows streets in the capital city, Caracas. This is a large map. Price $4 shipped.

Seventh, a map of Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana. This map is scale 1:2,500,000, so it's not very detailed. The map does show major roads, cities and towns, and major natural features. The map is printed on both sides, so it's relatively compact. And the map has a stiff paper cover to protect it. The publisher is Nelles Maps. Price $4 shipped.

Eighth, a roadmap for Peru, scale 1: 2,200,000. This is primarily a road map, but general elevation and major natural features are included. On the reverse side are small maps showing major streets in Lima and 22 other Peruvian cities. The map is printed on durable plasticized paper. The publisher is Libreria Internacional del Peru. Price $5 shipped.

If you add up the price of all eight items above, you get $51. I'll sell all eight as a set for $40, including postage.
