Yep, RED is amazing. Guy that owns Oakley developed it if im not mistaken. We actually have the catalog here at work. Scary expensive.. but impressive as heck. Quality aside, we still sell a heck of a lot of tape still though.. even though this and memory card platforms have hit the market. The picture quality on these cameras are insane.

Pricing has dropped a lot, Scarlet is actually somewhat affordable, can't wait to throw those old Sony DXC-D30's away
DVCAM is getting tired, Betacam SP is almost extinct, we are using P2 cards mostly now.

There's a small percentage of our customers that are running P2's or SxS cards. Most of our clients aren't switching over due to the affordability of them. They're not cheap. Not to mention people are weary of losing their data and then losing their shoot if something goes wrong. We still sell betacam Sp, digi-beta, DVCAM and DV all day long here in OC/LA. Shoot i still get orders for SVHS and Audio Cassettes once in a while! Good times.
