We've done it many many ways and recently bought an exhaust machine to bring it all i house. Our fav way to free up space now is to move the D side cat to the pass side and route the tube under the bellhousing. Works well, I'll post some pics of the 5.4 we're doing now as soon as the new exhaust is in.
