Ford Econoline back up camera wiring question

As mentioned, the reverse wire is easily found in the driver's footwell near the emergency brake. Pop off the black trim piece under the brake, near the door footwell. There is a wire bundle there, and you may need to cut open the bundle to access the wire. It's a solid black wire with a purple stripe, as shown below (not the solid purple one in the front).

My Honda Odyssey has that on the right side, activated with the right-turn signal. Nice for the blind spot over there, and would be really nice on a full-size van for sure.

Found the black w/pink wire on the backup light, then found the same wire in the driver side loom as described and shown earlier.
HOWEVER, though the wire at the light is grounded (0v) in park, the wire in the loom is at 7v (probably a pulse that averages to 7v?)!!!
So, not the same even though it is the same color and size of wire.

Any other guesses as to what color wire goes to the backup light from the driver side loom on a 1999 Ford E350?

Figured it out.
There are TWO bk/pk wires in the loom at that point.
One, the wrong one, is in a loosely twisted pair with an orange wire.
The correct backup light wire is a bk/pk wire that isn’t twisted with anything else.

Here’s a pic of the two bk/pk wires.
The one on the left is loosely twisted with the og/rd wire.
The one on the right is the backup light:
