The X looks great. My peeve with many of the conversions I've seen is they neglect the rear fenders.

I like it and think it would look great in black on your truck. That being said, I am a fan of a small stinger up front as well, similar to Buckstop's Baja bumper.

Looking good. I'm in need of at least a new driver seat, but would like more. Where did you source your seats? Were they a direct bolt-in? Was the wiring too difficult? Sorry for all of the questions.

Picked up complete interior off Craigslist. Front seats bolt right in. Rear seats needed brackets to be removed and rewelded at a different angle. Cool seats feature works with added switch. Heat didn't work because there wasn't a way to regulate it and it kept getting hotter and hotter. Messing with rear center seat shoulder belt setup. I didn't do wiring myself, but it was all done in half a day. It's my daily driver so not sure when dash will get done, need to finish rear door panels and start collecting dash parts.

Not much, ODawg intake, FASS fuel system added recently. Finishing up some other projects before I get back on it.

How much better is the suspension (ride and turning) after the swap?

I upgraded all at once, so not sure how much of a difference ride quality would be comparing stock shocks. Night and day difference with the Fox shocks and coil springs. I would do it for the turning radius alone. No more 3 point turns. I did start with 20 inch wheels and the extra sidewall going down to 17s I feel made a huge difference. I am contemplating going to 37s to fill in wheel opening a little more.

I just found a 2005 excursion V10 4x4 with 199,500 km on ,it use to be an old Ontario Provincial Police truck . I'm still working out some of the bugs out of it..I will be changing out the plastic running Broads to the Nerf bars.
