Can anyone please shed light on why there are so few overland builds on the Ford Expedition EL (1-3rd gen - lets say 2008-2010).
I have been considering the Excursion 7.3 as a platform primarily for its Cargo space and just realized that the Expedition had an EL version
that comes pretty close to the excursion on interior cargo volume.
Are there any drawbacks for doing a mild build on the EL? is it supported by third party manufacturers?
I am not rock crawling just need a stable reliable platform for being off the grid for extended periods of time.
