WAY WAY WAY better!! Night and day difference. Even having the FOX 2.5 remote res front coilovers, the truck no longer feels like a giant boat.

So you are running the Raptor stock Foxs in the rear and Fox 2.5s (also Raptor?) in the front?

Are you running stock control arms?

Or are the Fox 2.5s clearing the stock UCAs fine?

A shot of my Dad's rig and mine. His is a 2016 F450 Powerstroke 440hp/860tq, pulls a Bloomer horsetrailer as you can see it is huge but pulls it around like a little boat trailer. The 2016 F450 is an amazing piece of machinery. My F700 has been posted in here a few times. Both trucks are 100% FORD powered, no Cummins, International, CAT...only FORD motors.

THODGE...

Just curious what the conversion to coilovers took and what did it set ya bak (ballpark)?? Thanks! Rig looks great!

It's a kit from Carli Suspension in Corona, CA. There are a few options that would increase price, like the full replacement Deaver leaf springs (totally worth it IMO). Without leaf springs it's about $5500. They make several systems for both Ford and Dodge. Their quality and performance is unrivaled in the heavy duty truck market. I keep up with prerunners...

And thank you!

Short or Long Box Super Duty

Some beautiful trucks on here. I've been lusting for a smaller 4x4 for ages but decided to slowly convert my workhorse F350 into an overland rig for general camping/exploring with the kids. Currently I have the 6'6" bed. I have an option to swap trucks for the long bed 8'0" in the near future. For those of you out there which bed do you prefer and why? Is the 8' box on a crew cab just too much length? If you could do it again would you go for the long box or short box?

THODGES89,
I am kind of surprised to see BFG ATs under your truck.........how are they wearing for you?

I had two sets of those on my old 2004 Dodge Ram 3500/Cummins, and they wore HORRIBLY

The first set was all warrantied and the second set were simply returned/refunded

Never again under a heavy diesel

The first set wore fine, I just had punctures in 4 of the 5 over time but that was beating them off-road pretty good. I had been going back and forth a LOT recently on what I wanted next. There really isn't any other tire that I like very much. Toyo MTs are nearly indestructible, I know, but they're heavy and aggressive and I spend too much time on the street to run those monsters. The BFG is also a pretty small 37" and I'm cutting it pretty close on clearance already. I like the tire enough to try the new KO2 in hopes that the improvements BFG made would make them strong enough to hold up. So I got 4 new ones with warranties from Americas Tire. If they start getting holes again, I'll get them replaced and sell them off.

The next step will be Toyo RT's
