Ford Ranger with a MOD. These things go like the clappers, cant tell the camper is there.

Any interior photos or should I look up this MOD camper in the forum for them. While I'm a fan of older trucks, those new rangers look nice, to bad most dealerships want full-size price for them.

I do not get their pricing. $21k for 300 model with nothing but a mattress and electrical wiring. FWC Fleet base price of $20k is a complete package with propane, fridge, mattresses, couch, sink, stove, cabinets, water tank, CO detector, prewired for solar, lift struts, jack brackets and a lot more. about the only thing not included I would want is the optional furnace. Getting at least $10 worth of stuff for same money. So I just called them to find out they are no longer in production so I guess this is moot. But the salesman said the value is in the composite construction.

Man, I was just on their website and saw those. Been kicking myself all morning, I spent $19k after tax on my naked Khaya. I also waited six months for it....

Was looking at the EXD, what do you think of the operation over there?

Thank you for this post gives us a chance to explain a bit more -
True inside is simple and can be used as is there is power on board has led lights etc, plug in your fridge and away you go. Inside can be hosed out, 100% water proof , no holes in floor expect for a drain plug. These things are built as MOD - Meaning - My Own Design - its all there to make as fancy or functional to suit you. Mount points that have real weight ratings through out the camper, just attach your choice gear from any number of suppliers or make it your self out of 80/20 extruded alloy. Reconfigure to suit the adventure with an allen key. Jack mounts are moulded into the hull, no sharp edges any where.
Having a one piece mould is a big deal, there are no joins, anywhere, no glue, no screws no rivets no nothing , it will last a very very long time. Best of all no winds noise and no real difference in fuel economy . No turn buckles to hold it in, mounts to the trucks via our patent pending mount system , takes ten minutes and it is rock solid.
Big sales pitch? No not really it was a side project we have been playing with for a couple of years and every now and again take the dust off. Personally I hope we do figure out how to get them into a production system that makes sense for us and our customers. Alas at this point we are swamped with EarthCruiser and CORE chassis and just don’t have the room. Work bought a new ranger i wanted to see how it would look and drive , no suspension mods truck 100% stock.

Cheers

Lance
