Forest Fire Filter Solutions?

Summer is coming up and I live in the summer in my camper in an area with frequent forest fire smoke challenges. Driving away is not an option.

Does anyone have any suggestions / solutions for keeping camper air clean? My camper is from Total Composites and is almost airtight, so I need to crack a window or install a vent or similar.

Thinking perhaps cracking window/s and running a 12v HEPA filter...

I hear you, we are on the same quest. We often suffer with smoke drifting in from fires hundreds of kms away that hangs around for days, even weeks. The covid community has done the science and there are dozens of portable air filters available that easily double as smoke solutions, so look in that direction. Also a few makers of Heat Recovery Ventilation HRV units for tiny homes or individual rooms would suit your purpose as long as they provide adequate particulate filtration. Lunos and Accurasee come to mind.

Ive even gone as far as fabricating a proper HEPA rated cabin filter for our superduty.
Info here....

Frankly, its the single best mod Ive done to this truck.

For in camper filtration, we use this unit... Its small, quiet, and runs fine off of a small inverter. (y)

I have considered cannibalizing it to have it installed permanently, perhaps to run 100% on 12V

Driving away is NOT an option? Is the Truck broke?

Where are you going to drive to get away from smoke?
Anymore, its a way of life. Especially if you are in the PNW.
So would you rather filter the air you breath, or choke on it?
