Found a kit to run factory 14-bolt disk from newer truck on older 14-bolt w/ drums

It's from a company called Right Gear and Axle. I'm a little leery because I don't see this swap kit advertised on their website, only on their ebay store. But if it works good, id be interested. I currently run caddy calipers on the rear of my Suburban and am not that impressed with the results (granted I have not tried replacement master cylinders, proportioning valves, or adjustments valves). Does anyone have any experience with this company? Someone had posted this on CK5, but no one had any info so I figured I'd ask here. I priced out all the parts they have listed as needing to buy from Rockauto and it came out to $509.39. So basically close to $750 to run disk........ kinda expensive.

I had the EGR Cadillac Eldorado disc conversion on my '98.5 Dodge 2500. Weak at best. Maybe this will work out better.

I have a chevy with a 14 bolt rear and the cadillac calipers. The emergency brake has never worked. Poor design, the worm gear does not work properly with the throw of the actuating arm. I would love to find out about these later model calipers with a built in e-brake. Anyone know what year and model truck they come on? Trip to the junkyard, prop valve and some brackets would be easy.

It's supposed to be 2000 and new I believe.

Looks like a good base for the conversion. As you all have discovered, the Cadillac Eldorado calipers are poorly designed and don't work well. The drum-in-hat e-brakes work pretty well by comparison.
